Pokopia item list: every Bubbly Basin material and what it opens
This Pokopia item list covers all 74 materials the 36 Bubbly Basin habitats ask for, read from the item side rather than the habitat side. The tables this site is built from run habitat first, which tells you what a build costs but not whether the pile of Sea Moss in your bag is worth anything yet.

Short version
- 53 of the 74 items are wanted by exactly one habitat.
- Only 10 items appear in three habitats or more, though 6 of the single-habitat items still ask for more than one unit.
- Seabed Flowers reaches 9 of the 50 Pokemon, more than any other single item. Per unit spent the best is Colorful Corals, 7 Pokemon for 2 units.
- The habitat table this is built from carries no gathering locations, so there is no location column here.
Last updated . Quantities are arithmetic over the habitat table, not a separate claim.
Pokopia item list stockpile check
The rest of this Pokopia item list is a table. This part is not. Put in what you are carrying. You get back which of the 36 habitats that already builds, which ones are one short, and which single item would release the most if you went and got it.
0 of 36 habitats buildable right now
An empty bag builds nothing, which is the honest answer. Fill in a box above, or try one of the presets to see the shape of it.
Closest to buildable
- Sandy digging spot needs 1 more Sandpile, 1 more Sand Toys
- Bubbly bathtub needs 1 more Bathtub, 1 more Bubble Machine
- Coral congregation needs 1 more Small Coral, 1 more Tall Coral, 1 more Colorful Corals
- Sandy speech needs 1 more Tabletop Mic, 1 more Table (any), 1 more Sandpile
What to go and get
Ranked by habitats where this item is the only thing still missing, so one trip finishes them.
| Item | Units short | Unlocks | Pokémon | Still blocked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seabed Flowers | 12 | 1 | 4 | 3 |
| Seabed Tall Grass | 12 | 1 | 4 | 3 |
| Sea Moss | 14 | 1 | 3 | 4 |
| Lampion | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 |
| Sandpile | 4 | 0 | 0 | 4 |
| Table (any) | 4 | 0 | 0 | 4 |
Working the other way round, from the Pokemon you still want back to a shopping list, is what the Bubbly Basin material planner does. To see what one habitat costs before you commit to it, the habitat value comparison ranks all 36 by Pokemon per material.
Most materials are asked for once and never again
53 of the 74 items appear in a single habitat. 11 more appear in two. That leaves 10 carrying three or more habitats between them. Being reused is not the same as needing spares: 6 single-habitat items ask for more than one unit, the largest being Exhibition Stand at 6.
Sorting by how often an item gets named gives a different order. Sea Moss is asked for by 4 habitats and those habitats lead to 7 Pokemon between them. Seabed Flowers appears in 3 and leads to 9. Reuse and reach are separate numbers and the two orders disagree, so the table below sorts on reach and shows the habitat count beside it.

Four requirements are written as a category
Four requirements in the source tables carry an "(any)" suffix, which reads as a category rather than one named object. A flat list gives you no way to see that these four rows are written differently from the other 70.
- Table (any) for Sandy speech, Biteable punching bag, Marine shop, Smoothie-making spot, reaching 6 Pokemon
- Doll (any) for Fluffy relaxation, reaching 3 Pokemon
- Lighting (any) for Fluffy relaxation, reaching 3 Pokemon
- Waste Bin (any) for Discarded treasure, reaching 2 Pokemon
Not ideal for: a shopping list. The source names a class here, not one specific object to go and find.
Two materials also have a price
The Beautiful Building guides put a Life Coin price on four things, and two of them are also habitat materials on this list. That overlap is not published anywhere as an overlap, because the two datasets live on separate pages of separate sites.
- Cushion Bed costs 100 Life Coins in the context of Cushion Bed for Chinchou's habitat, and one guide says it can be found rather than bought. 1 habitat on this list also want it.
- Lampion costs 100 Life Coins in the context of Lampions to light Barboach's cave, and one guide says it can be found rather than bought. 2 habitats on this list also want it.
The price rows name "Lampions" in the plural and the habitat table names "Lampion", and this page treats them as the same item. That is a reading, not something either source states. An item with no price row here simply has no price in that dataset.
What this list cannot tell you
Where anything comes from. Neither game8 nor Nintendo Life publishes gathering routes for Basin materials, so there is no location column, and inventing one would make the rest of the table less trustworthy rather than more useful. If a route gets documented, it goes in here with the source named.
The count is also bounded. 74 is every material named in the 36 Bubbly Basin habitat rows. Anything the game has that those rows do not name falls outside it, so a search for a Pokopia item list spanning the whole game will not find that here.
Questions people ask about the item list
How many items are there in Bubbly Basin?
Seventy four distinct items across the 36 habitats, and 159 units in total once every quantity is added up. That count covers the material requirements named in those 36 habitat rows. Anything the game has that those rows do not name is outside it.
Which item should I collect first?
Seabed Flowers reaches 9 of the 50 Basin Pokemon, more than any other item, across 12 units. If you would rather spend the fewest units, Colorful Corals is the better pick at 7 Pokemon for 2. Sea Moss appears in more habitats than Seabed Flowers but leads to fewer Pokemon, so the two orderings disagree.
Where do you find Bubbly Basin materials?
The habitat table this site is built from carries requirements, not gathering locations, so there is no location column here. Two of the materials also appear in the Beautiful Building guides with a Life Coin price, and those two are listed.
What does (any) mean next to an item name?
The requirement names a class rather than one specific object. Four of the 74 rows are written that way in the source tables: Table (any), Doll (any), Lighting (any), Waste Bin (any). Each of the four asks for a single unit.
Is this the same as the habitat list?
It is the same dataset turned around. The habitat pages tell you what one habitat costs. This tells you what one item is worth, which is the question you have when you are looking at your bag rather than at a build menu.
Where this data comes from
Habitat and Pokédex data compiled from game8 and Nintendo Life and cross-checked. Value ratios, material totals and build orders are calculated on this site, not copied from either of them.
The item counts, unit totals and Pokemon reached are arithmetic over the habitat table those two sources produced, cross checked between them. The Life Coin prices are separate, and come from the Beautiful Building guides credited on the Beautiful Building Pokemon list.
