The Bubbly Basin confirmed Pokemon list, graded by how well each entry is sourced

50 Bubbly Basin confirmed Pokemon have shipped in the live game, and every guide ranking for this search lists them the same flat way: a name, a row, nothing about how sure anyone is. This page splits that single list into two evidence tiers — 48 confirmed through the 36-habitat system and 2 confirmed through a story encounter instead — and says plainly that no source we found names a specific Pokémon for the Part 2 DLC still to come.

Last updated . Habitat and Pokédex data cross-checked between game8 and Nintendo Life; Part 2 claims sourced separately and marked as rumors below.

Zero rows on this page are graded "datamined" or "rumored" — that grade is defined in the methodology below, but nothing has ever been sourced to put in it. The filter widget below only offers the two tiers that actually have entries; see what is rumored for Part 2 for why a third filter would have nothing to show.

What is rumored for Part 2, and why it stays out of the table

Nintendo Life and Insider Gaming both report a second Expansion Pass part due late 2026, so the claim that more content is coming is not a rumor, it has two independent sources. What is thinner is the content list: Nintendo Life's trailer coverage says Part 2 will add wearable accessories for your character and your Pokémon, more Pokémon and more furniture, with no new town. We found no second source for that content list, and no source at all, official or otherwise, that names a single species for Part 2.

That is why "more Pokémon" does not appear as a row above. A row needs a name, and nobody we could find has published one. If a list elsewhere claims specific Part 2 Pokémon, the honest question to ask it is where the name came from — this page will add a "rumored" or "datamined" row the day a source actually names one, not before.

How we grade the evidence

"Officially confirmed" on this page means the Pokémon is obtainable in the shipped game today, not that it was announced or teased before launch. Within that, the table splits by how the confirmation was reached:

  • Habitat-verified (48)

Appears in game8's habitat table and Nintendo Life's Pokédex guide, cross-checked against each other for this site's dataset. Two sources, same list. Neither guide publishes its own methodology, so we cannot confirm they were compiled without one referencing the other.

  • Story encounter (2)

Manaphy and Phione. Neither comes from the 36-habitat system, so they sit outside the habitat table by construction, but both are named at rows 49 and 50 of Nintendo Life's Pokédex guide, and Phione additionally has its own game8 archive entry describing the Dream Island encounter. VGC's separate roundup arrives at the same total of 50 independently, which corroborates the list as a whole rather than these two rows specifically.

  • Rumored / datamined (0)

Reserved for a claim with a species name and a source, and currently empty. The Part 2 coverage we found names categories, not Pokémon — see the section above.

What this grading cannot do: confirm that the two habitat sources were compiled independently of each other rather than one copying the other, since neither publishes its own methodology. It also cannot rule out a Part 2 leak existing somewhere we did not find — it only reports what our search turned up as of 17 August 2026.

Questions about Bubbly Basin's confirmed Pokemon

How many Pokémon are confirmed in Bubbly Basin?

50 total. 48 are reachable through the 36-habitat system and are cross-checked between game8's habitat table and Nintendo Life's Pokédex guide. The other 2, Manaphy and Phione, are confirmed too but come from a story encounter and the Starmie Doll's Dream Island rather than a habitat. All 50 have shipped and are obtainable in the live game since 5 August 2026.

Is the Bubbly Basin confirmed Pokemon list complete, or could more be added?

Complete for what shipped as Part 1. Nintendo Life and Insider Gaming both report a Part 2 due late 2026, and Nintendo Life says it will add wearable accessories, more Pokémon and more furniture, without naming any of them. So 50 is the final count for Part 1, not necessarily for the whole Expansion Pass.

Is there a leaked or datamined Bubbly Basin Pokemon list for Part 2?

Not one we could find a source for. Every mention of Part 2 in our research talks about wearables, more Pokémon and more furniture in general terms, and cites no specific species. A list claiming named Part 2 Pokémon is not backed by anything on this page's source list, and we would treat it as unconfirmed until it cited where it came from.

What is the difference between 'habitat-verified' and 'story encounter' in the table?

48 of the 50 are reachable by building one of the 36 habitats, and both guides we cross-checked agree on that. Manaphy and Phione are confirmed too, but neither comes from a habitat: Manaphy arrives through the main story, and Phione turns up on the Dream Island the Starmie Doll opens.

Why does this page not have a "datamined" or "trailer-exclusive" tier?

Because we have no source to put in one. Nintendo published two official trailers for the DLC, but neither is broken down by which named Pokémon appear at which timestamp anywhere we found, so labelling entries that way here would be a guess dressed up as a citation. The tiers below are the ones we can actually back.

How many sources back each entry on this page?

Every entry has two: game8's habitat table and Nintendo Life's Pokédex guide, cross-checked against each other. Phione additionally has its own game8 archive entry describing the Dream Island encounter. On top of the per-species sources, VGC's separate "every new Pokémon" roundup arrives at the same total of 50 independently, which corroborates the list as a whole rather than any one row.

Sources

Habitat-verified tier: cross-checked between game8's habitat table and Nintendo Life's Pokédex and habitats guide. Story-encounter tier additionally corroborated by VGC's every-new-Pokémon roundup. Part 2 claims from Nintendo Life's trailer coverage and Insider Gaming's release-date report, read on 17 August 2026. The evidence-tier labels and source counts are assembled on this site from those sources; they are not copied from any single one of them.
